Killing Floor is a first person shooter, allowing each player to move through a 3D environment. Gameplay consists of a single game type, in which the player fights waves of zombie-like specimens, with each wave becoming successively more difficult, until it concludes with a batle against a "boss" specimen, called the patriach. Playes earn in game money for each kill, as well as for surviving to the end of a wave. In the time betweeen each waves, palyers can visit a trafer to buy and sell ammo, armor, and addtional weapons, ranging from katanas, pipe bombs, flamethrowes. shotguns, and so forth; the Trader's location on the level varies at the end of each wave, discouraging players from camping in one location.

The Battlefield is a series of FPS video games that started with the Windows/Mac game Battlefield 1942.The game is developed by the Swedish Company DICE, and published by Electronic Arts.The game feature a greater focus on large maps, teamwork and vechile warfare than traditional first-person shooters. Batllefield was released on September 10, 2002 ,using the refractor gaming engine ,and introduced the "Conquest" gameplay mode in which players fougt for "capture points" throughout the map.Two expansion packs were released, The Road of Rome and Secret Weapons of WWII. The game Battlefield takes place in modern day, during a fictional war between the United states, China, and the fictional Middle Easter Coalition(MEC). Despote it requires numerous software package due to the large number of bugs and glitches in the game upon its release, it was ac commercial success, selling over 2,250,000 copies worldwide, as of july 2006.

Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, was set in the Middle Ages, while its expansion of the Roman Empire.The subseqeunt three games of Age of Empires III explored the early morden peroid, when Europe was colonizing the Americans and several Asian different apporach as a free-to-play online games ultilzing Games for Windows Live. The game revolves three species:the Terrans, human exiles from Earth,the zerg, a super-species of assimilated life forms and the protoss,a technologically advanced species with cast mental powers.Wings of Liberty focuses on the Terrans, and Protoss, respectively.The game is set for four years after the events of 1998's Starcraft II:Brood War, and foloes the exploits of Jim Raynor as he leads an insurgent group against the autocratic Terran Dominoin.

Call of duty is a first person and third person computer / video game franchise. The series began on the PC, and later expanded to conceles and handhelds. Several spin off games have also been released. The earlier games in the series are set primarily in World WarII, this includes Call of Duty ,Call of Duty, and Call of Duty. Beginning with Modern Website, which is set in modern times, the series has shifted focus away from World War II.
